Arsenal Vs Everton Highlights

Arsenal Fire Past Everton to Extend Premier League Lead

Gunners: 4-0

Everton: 0

Arsenal put on a dominant display to thrash Everton 4-0 and extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points. Goals from Gabriel Martinelli, Eddie Nketiah, Cedric Soares, and Martin Odegaard secured a convincing victory for the Gunners, who were in complete control throughout the match.

The win takes Arsenal to 29 points after 11 games, five clear of reigning champions Manchester City. It was a perfect response to City's 3-1 win over West Ham United earlier on Sunday, and Arsenal will now be confident of maintaining their lead at the summit of the table.

For Everton, the defeat leaves them in 15th place with 11 points from 11 games. They have now lost four of their last five Premier League matches and will need to improve quickly if they are to avoid a relegation battle this season.

Arsenal took the lead in the 23rd minute when Martinelli finished off a fine team move with a low shot into the bottom corner. Nketiah doubled the lead just four minutes later, heading home from close range after a cross from Kieran Tierney.

Cedric made it 3-0 just before halftime with a superb curling shot from outside the box. Odegaard then added the fourth goal in the 54th minute with a well-placed effort from the edge of the area.

Everton had a few chances to get back in the game, but they were unable to find a way past Arsenal's defense. The Gunners' back line was in fine form, and they protected Aaron Ramsdale's goal with ease.

The victory was Arsenal's first in the Premier League since October 1 and will give them a huge boost confidence ahead of their next match, away to Southampton next weekend.
