A Mothers Love Knows No Bounds

Ada Nicodemou shares heartwarming tribute to son Johnas in new children's book

A mother's love knows no bounds

Ada Nicodemou is a beloved Australian actress best known for her role as Leah Patterson-Baker on the popular soap opera Home and Away. Off-screen, Ada is a devoted mother to her two children, Johnas and Atlas. In her new children's book, The Wishing Tree, Ada shares a secret way she paid tribute to her son Johnas, who was conceived through IVF.

A special bond

Ada's journey to motherhood was not without its challenges. After struggling to conceive naturally, she and her partner, Chrys Xipolitas, turned to IVF. In 2011, their dream of becoming parents came true with the birth of their son, Johnas. Ada has always been open about her struggles with fertility and the joy that Johnas brought into her life.

In The Wishing Tree, Ada tells the story of a young girl named Lily who makes a wish at a wishing tree. Lily's wish is for a baby brother or sister. Ada subtly weaves in her own story of IVF through Lily's journey. The book is a beautiful and heartwarming celebration of family and the power of hope.
